TEHRAN The cabinet approved the formation of a committe under the supervision of the president to examine economic problems at critical times. The committee conduct the macro-plans of the country's economy.

The Economic Affairs and Finance Ministry announced that the cabinet agreed with the president to set up the committee so that it could decide very quickly and solve the the problems at the time of an economic crisis.

The members of this committee are First Vice President Mohammad-Reza Aref, Mines and Industry Minister Ishaq Jahangiri, Commerce Minister Mohammad Shariatmadari, Finance Minister Tahmaseb Mazaheri, Labor Minister Safdar Husseini, Agricultur Jihad Minister Mahmoud Hojati, Management and Planning Organization Head Mohammad Satarifar, and the Central Bank Governor Mohsen Nourbakhsh.

According to the reprot the committee on economic crises will function under the president's supervision. In addition to the said members, two representatives appointed by president will participate in its meetings. The committee's secretariat is located in the Economic Affairs and Finance Ministry.
